Whenever in this Code or in any ordinance of the Village any act is prohibited or is made or declared to be unlawful, or whenever in such Code or ordinance the doing of any act is required or the failure to do any act is declared to be unlawful, where no specific penalty and/or no specific minimum penalty is provided, the violation of any such provision of this Code or any ordinance shall be punishable by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) and not more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00). A separate offense shall be deemed committed for each day on which a violation occurs or continues. Notwithstanding anything contained in this Code, any court of competent jurisdiction shall be authorized to enter an order of supervision or conditional discharge as provided by the Illinois Unified Code of Corrections, 730 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/1-1-1 et seq.
