§ 40.306 PARKING IN CERTAIN LOCATIONS PROHIBITED
   No person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or traffic control device, in any of the following places:
   (A)   On any sidewalk, parkway, or utility strip between the street and sidewalk;
   (B)   At any place where the vehicle would block the use of any driveway;
   (C)   Within any intersection;
   (D)   Within ten (10) feet of a fire hydrant (curbs marking the location of fire hydrants shall be painted red);
   (E)   In or upon any crosswalk;
   (F)   Alongside or opposite any street, excavation or obstruction, when such stopping, standing or parking would obstruct traffic;
   (G)   On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of a street;
   (H)   At any place where official signs or markings prohibit stopping, standing or parking;
   (I)   Within twenty (20) feet of the driveway entrance to any fire department station;
   (J)   Within twenty (20) feet of a traffic signal, beacon, or sign on the approaching side;
   (K)   Within twenty-five (25) feet of any intersection;
   (L)   Within thirty (30) feet of the nearest rail of a railroad grade crossing;
   (M)   With the left side of the vehicle next to the curb, except on one-way streets;
   (N)   On any private property without the consent of the owner of the property, if the owner has posted a sign prohibiting or regulating parking;
   (O)   In a parking area designated for the use of a person with a disability pursuant to KRS 189.459, without displaying the registration plate or placard referred to in such statute;
   (P)   Within five (5) feet of any driveway;
   (Q)   Within twelve (12) feet of any residential mailbox; provided, however, that a resident will be permitted to park in front of his or her own mailbox so long as other mailboxes are not blocked by doing so; and
   (R)   On bridges or overpasses, including railroad bridges or overpasses.
