250.10   FUNERAL LEAVE.
   (a)   All full-time employees may be granted paid time off, but not to exceed three days, for the death of the employee's:
      (1)   Spouse;
      (2)   Brother;
      (3)   Child;
      (4)   Sister;
      (5)   Father;
      (6)   Mother;
      (7)   Grandparents;
      (8)   Grandparents-in-law;
      (9)   Mother-in-law; or
      (10)   Father-in-law.
   (b)   Funeral leave is subject to approval by the Department Head and the Mayor. Funeral leave is not deducted from the employee's accumulated sick leave. If the full- time employee returns to work prior to the end of the three days, the employee will not be paid for both time worked and the allowed funeral leave.
