250.04   PRE-EMPLOYMENT PHYSICAL.
   (a)   The Village conducts its hiring in strict accordance with the standards set forth by both the State of Ohio and the Federal government. Job applicants may be required to perform work-related tasks derived from the description of the position for which they have applied as part of the application process. After an offer of employment has been made to an individual applicant, the Village may require the applicant to undergo a medical examination at the expense of the Village and conducted by a physician of the Village's choice. The results of this examination may be a condition for employment.
   (b)   Prior to granting full-time employment as a police officer, the individual shall submit to a medical exam, drug screening, and a psychological exam per the requirements of State statute.
   (c)   Seasonal and part-time employees may be required to submit to drug screening conducted by a physician selected by the Village and at the expense of the Village.
