(a) All part-time and full-time employees are required to serve a one-year probationary period, during which time the employee is required to demonstrate his or her ability to perform the duties of the position for which the employee has been hired.
(b) If the service of an employee is unsatisfactory, the employee may be removed at any time during the probationary period.
