1066.02   PARK PROPERTY.
   No person in the park shall do any of the following:
   (a)   Willfully mark, deface, disfigure, injure, tamper with, or displace or remove any tables, benches, fireplaces, railings, paving material, waterlines or public utilities, or parts thereof, signs, notices or placards, whether temporary or permanent, monuments, stakes, posts or other boundary markers, or other structures or equipment, facilities or park property or appurtenances whatsoever.
   (b)   Fail to cooperate in maintaining the park in a neat and sanitary condition.
   (c)   Dig or remove any soil, rocks, stones, trees, shrubs or plants, or make any excavation by a tool, equipment, blasting or other means without prior written approval of the Service Director.
   (d)   Construct or erect any building or structure of whatever kind whether permanent or temporary in character on or within the park except on special written permission by either the Service Director or the Mayor.
   (e)   Damage, cut, carve, transplant or remove any tree or plant or injure the bark or pick flowers or seeds of any tree or plant. Without prior approval of the Service Director, no person shall attach any rope, wire, or other material to any tree or plant. No person shall dig or otherwise disturb grass areas or in any way injure or impair the natural beauty or usefulness of the park.
   (f)   No person shall use any structure of any equipment within the park for which such structure or equipment is not designed or customarily used.
   (g)   No person shall throw, discharge, or cause to be placed in the waters of any fountain, pond, lake, stream or other body of water within the park, any substance, matter or thing, liquid or solid, which will or may cause pollution of such waters.
   (h)   No person shall dump, deposit, or leave any bottles, broken glass, ashes, paper, boxes, cans, dirt, rubbish, waste, garbage or refuse or other trash within the park. No such refuse or trash shall be placed in any waters in or contiguous to the park, nor shall such refuse or trash be left anywhere on the grounds thereof, but shall be placed in proper receptacles where these are provided; where such receptacles are not so provided all rubbish or waste shall be carried away from the park by the person responsible for its presence and property disposed of elsewhere.
