(a) There is hereby created the position of Village Fiscal Officer who shall be appointed by the Mayor of the Village subject to approval by a majority vote of the Village legislative authority.
(b) The Village Fiscal Officer shall perform the duties provided by law for the village Clerk/Treasurer and any other duties consistent with the nature of the office.
(c) The compensation of the Fiscal Officer shall be as determined by Council from time to time.
(d) In those instances where the Fiscal Officer is out of town or otherwise unavailable or incapacitated, the duly appointed President of Council will have the authority to sign all documents as otherwise signed by the Fiscal Officer.
