3-1-7: LICENSE FEE SCHEDULE:
   A.   Annual License Fee Imposed: All commercial establishments, as defined in this chapter, shall pay an annual license fee, except those commercial establishments exempted by law from municipal licensing.
   B.   Minimum License Fee: Except as hereafter provided, all commercial establishments occupying premises with a floor area in use or reserved for or retained for use of less than two thousand five hundred (2,500) square feet shall pay a minimum license fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00).
   C.   Annual business license fees as determined by the Bensenville Business License Fee Schedule referenced in the Bensenville Business License Fee Policy.
   D.   Carts or Trucks: Except as otherwise limited by law, any of the following commercial establishments located within the village, or soliciting business within the village, shall pay an annual license fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each truck operated by the commercial establishment from or within the village:
Caterer/ice cream.
   E.   Dramshop Licenses: Any establishment engaged in the sale or distribution of alcoholic liquors shall comply with the requirements of this chapter as well as the liquor license requirements of chapter 3 of this title.
   F.   Late Fees: Payment of the annual license fee is due and payable prior to January 1 of the year for which the license is applied.
All unpaid business licenses shall be assessed a late fee of twenty five percent (25%) on January 1 of the year for which the license applies to. An additional late fee shall be assessed on February 1 of the year, if the business license continues to be unpaid. If a business license remains unpaid on March 1 or beyond, a citation for administrative adjudication shall be issued to the responsible party. Such citations shall be subject to fines as determined by the hearing officer. (Ord. 20-93, 7-6-1993; amd.
