5-1-5: RAILROAD CROSSING STOPS:
   A.   Whenever any person driving a vehicle approaches a railroad grade crossing and a clearly audible or visible electric or mechanical signal device gives warning of the approach of a train, the driver of such vehicle shall stop not less than ten feet (10') from the nearest track of such railroad, and shall not proceed while the signal device continues to give a signal of the approach or passage of a train.
   B.   The driver of the vehicle shall stop and remain stopped, and not traverse such a grade crossing when a crossing gate is lowered or when a flagman gives or continues to give a signal of the approach or passage of a train. The driver of the vehicle shall not drive around the end of a lowered gate. (1976 Code § 41.07)
