No person shall operate a vehicle upon any street or public way in the village at a greater speed than is reasonable and proper, having regard to the traffic and the use of the way or street, or in a manner which might endanger the safety of any person or property. No person shall operate a motor vehicle at a greater speed than indicated, when signs are erected giving notice thereof, on the following streets: (1976 Code § 41.10)
25 Miles Per Hour:
On Addison Street between Main Avenue and Green Street.
On Center Street between Main Avenue and Green Street.
On Ellis Avenue south from Devon Avenue.
On Main Avenue between York Street and Church Road.

30 Miles Per Hour:
On Green Street from York Road to Evergreen Street.
On Jefferson Street from Evergreen Street to County Line Road.

35 Miles Per Hour:
