A decision or written notice of the village arborist, Public Works Director or designee under this chapter may be appealed to the Board of Trustees. An appeal must be submitted in writing, shall set forth the decision and reason for the appeal and filed within ten (10) business days after the date of the decision or written notice. The decision of the Board may affirm, modify, or reverse a decision or written notice. The decision of the Board of Trustees shall be in writing and final. Nothing in this section shall be construed to limit the jurisdiction of any administrative adjudication hearing or court of law with respect to any violation of this chapter.
