§ 71.008 MOTORCYCLES.
   (A)   No person shall ride on any vehicle, nor upon any portion thereof not designated or intended for the use of passengers. This provision shall not apply to an employee engaged in the necessary discharge of a duty or to persons riding within truck bodies in a space intended for merchandise, but it shall apply to the permanent seat of a motorcycle. ('88 Code, § 18.209)
   (B)   No person riding a motorcycle shall attach the same or himself to any moving vehicle upon any street. Nor shall any motorcycle be operated in a reckless or dangerous manner. Riding on handlebars is prohibited. ('88 Code, § 18.210)
