The International Existing Building Code, 2018 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, Inc. and amended as necessary by the city, a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk/Treasurer, is hereby adopted as the Existing Building Code for the City of Bennet and for the area within its extraterritorial zoning jurisdiction, for the purpose of regulating the repair, alteration, change of occupancy, addition and relocation of existing buildings, regardless of occupancy; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore.
