§ 150.055 STANDARDS; APPLICABILITY; EXCEPTIONS.
   (A)   All new construction in the city that is intended to be regularly occupied by people shall include radon resistant new construction in conformance with the requirements of this subchapter, and any other applicable state or federal law.
   (B)   Exceptions are as follows.
      (1)   The construction project is not required to include radon resistant new construction if it utilizes the design of an architect or professional engineer licensed under the state’s Engineers and Architects Regulation Act, being Neb. Rev. Stat. 81-3401 et seq.
      (2)   The construction project is not required to include radon resistant construction if the state’s Department of Health and Human Services determines that the average radon concentration is less than two and seven-tenths picocuries per liter of air in the county.
