(A) Any person aggrieved by the action of the County Sheriff’s Office or the City Clerk/Treasurer in denial of an application for a permit, or in a decision with reference to the revocation of a permit under this chapter, shall have the right of appeal to the City Council.
(B) Such appeal shall be taken by filing with the City Clerk/Treasurer, within 14 days after notice of the action complained of has been mailed to such person’s last known address, a written statement setting forth the grounds for the appeal.
(C) The City Council shall set a time and place for hearing on such appeal and notice of such hearing shall be given to the person aggrieved. The City Council shall render a decision within 30 days after the hearing.
