§ 111.01 GENERAL REGULATIONS.
   Peddlers and hawkers shall include persons and companies having no personal residence or business location in the county, who sell goods and services without a regular weekly schedule or route or without a previous appointment with the customer. To prevent the sale of fraudulent, dangerous, and unhealthful goods and services, and to protect the public by maintaining records of the products sold and the persons and companies responsible for such sales, all peddlers and hawkers shall, before doing business within the municipality, register with the City Clerk and shall provide, as requested by the City Clerk, all the necessary information and documents required for the protection of the residents of the municipality. Any person or persons so registered shall be subject to any fees, occupation taxes, and other rules and regulations which the governing body deems appropriate for the purposes stated herein. Any permit so granted shall be subject to revocation for good and sufficient cause by the municipal police or governing body.
