§ 30.022 CLERK-TREASURER POSITION CREATED.
   (A)   The appointive offices of City Clerk and City Treasurer are hereby combined and merged, in accordance with authority granted to the City Council by § 30.021.
   (B)   The offices so merged and combined shall always be construed to be separate, and the effect of the combination or merger shall be limited to a consolidation of official duties only.
   (C)   The salary of the officer holding the merged offices shall not be in excess of the maximum amount provided by law for the salary of the offices so combined.
