§ 52.03 CONSUMER’S APPLICATION AND DEPOSIT.
   (A)   Any person desiring municipal electrical service shall make application therefor to the City Clerk. The Clerk shall require a $260 deposit to be placed on file at the office of the City Clerk. The Clerk shall then forward the application to the City Superintendent. Electricity may not be supplied to any house or building except upon the order of the Superintendent.
   (B)   Upon termination or disconnection of electrical service, the customer’s deposit shall be applied to any utility charges or other amounts owing to the city and the remaining balance shall be refunded.
   (C)   The deposit shall be refunded after the customer has maintained electric service with the city for a continuous one-year period for which all billings have been paid by the delinquent date.
