The purpose of this chapter is to promote the public health, safety, general welfare, peace, good order, comfort and convenience of the county and the inhabitants thereof, and:
A. To provide for the coordination of a street and/or road naming system; and
B. To minimize future road naming and addressing conflicts; and
C. To expedite property identification by fire and other emergency services; and
D. To provide a database for county records; and
E. To comply with U.S. postal addressing standards; and
F. To further the proper administration and enforcement of this chapter by defining the powers and duties of the approval authorities. (Ord. 82-A, 8-10-1998)
