5-3-8: DUTY OF PEACE OFFICERS:

It is hereby made the duty of the sheriff, any deputy sheriff, or any city police officer, within their respective jurisdiction, to complain against any custodian violating any of the sections contained in this chapter. This section shall not be read to limit the right of a citizen's arrest. (Ord. 13, 8-8-1977, eff. 8-11-1977)
