5-3-2: PURPOSE:
The purpose of this chapter is to regulate and control the running at large of livestock. The presence of any livestock running at large within the limits of the county is hereby declared to be a public nuisance. The board finds that such livestock pollute water sources, cause injuries, deaths, and damage to both persons and property. The board further finds that any livestock at large is a threat to the health of the people of the county and to the safety and well being of persons and property alike and prohibits the presence of livestock at large within the limits of the county.
