A. Penalty Imposed: A violation of subsection 5-2-4B or C of this chapter is a misdemeanor punishable as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. (Ord. 92, 5-13-1996; amd. 2011 Code)
B. Basis For Proceedings Against Minor: A violation of subsection 5-2-4A of this chapter may form the basis for a petition or proceedings against the minor pursuant to the juvenile correction act, Idaho Code section 20-501 et seq. The court may utilize any of the dispositional alternatives provided by Idaho law for the violation of a status offense.
C. Court Ordered Restitution: The court may order restitution to Benewah County, or other appropriate agencies, for any costs reasonably incurred by the county, or other appropriate agencies, in caring for the child, including, but not limited to, wages of police officers, law enforcement officials, transportation and attendant care charges, which resulted from a violation of subsection 5-2-4A or B of this chapter.
