A. Speed: Speed limits on waters located in the county shall be as follows:
1. During the day, when the speed is not otherwise restricted, the speed limit shall be reasonable and prudent, but not in excess of fifty (50) miles per hour.
2. A thirty five (35) mile per hour speed limit shall be in effect on all rivers within the county during daylight hours, when not otherwise restricted.
3. At night, on all waters within the county, the speed limit shall be twenty (20) miles per hour, unless otherwise restricted.
4. No watercraft shall be operated in a manner that causes a dangerous, or damaging wake.
B. Age Of Operator: No motorboat shall be operated by any person between the ages of ten (10) and fourteen (14) years, unless the power installation is fifteen (15) horsepower or less, except under the direct supervision of an adult operator in the motorboat alongside said child. No child under ten (10) years of age shall operate a motorboat except under the direct supervision of an adult operator in the motorboat alongside the child.
C. Disposal Of Sewage Or Other Wastes: It shall be unlawful for any person to dump, or to permit another to dump, discharge, or otherwise dispose of any sewage, wastes or any other matter into or upon the waters of the county.
D. Use Of Public Docks: It shall be unlawful for the owner or operator of any watercraft to tie to, or otherwise secure said watercraft to any public dock in the county for a period of time exceeding seventy two (72) consecutive hours.
E. Mufflers: No motorboat shall be operated on the waters of the county without a muffler or other similar device to prevent excessive or unusual noise (85 decibels) or smoke.
F. Skiing: No person shall operate a watercraft from Cherry Bend, upriver, while having in tow more than one skier, aquaplane, inner tube, or other similar contrivance.
G. Inattentive Operation: It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any watercraft or ski or otherwise be towed on the waters within the county in an inattentive, careless, or imprudent manner in light of the circumstances, or in a manner as to endanger any person or property.
