(a) No person shall be hired as an employee of the City who is a relative of the appointing authority who is filling that position.
(b) No employee of the City may move or be transferred to any job position which places him or her under the jurisdiction or control of the appointing authority.
(c) No employee shall be hired as an employee of the City in any department whose supervisor is a relative of that person.
(d) No employee of the City shall move or be transferred into a job position which places him or her under the supervision of a relative. (Ord. 45(96-97). Passed 6-9-97.)
(e) Relative is defined to include spouse, mother, father, son, daughter, step-parent, step-child, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent or grandchild.
