(a) The City will pay eighty-five percent (85%) of the total cost of the hospitalization and medical payment coverage afforded under the hospitalization and major medical plans.
(b) The City will pay eighty-five percent (85%) of the total cost of any increase in premium of the hospitalization and medical payment coverage referred to in subsection (a) herein, provided such increase is initiated by the insuring company for a like amount of hospitalization insurance.

(c) Upon severance from employment an employee’s coverage shall terminate.
