§ 150.16 WORK COMMENCING WITHOUT PROPER PERMITS ISSUED.
   (A)   Until all required fees have been paid and received by the Building Commissioner a building permit is not considered issued for any project.
   (B)   Whenever work on a property or premises has begun without the required permits having been issued the Building Commissioner shall have the authority to stop such work until the proper applications have been filed and a permit is issued.
   (C)   The fee for a permit issued after work has commenced shall be doubled.
   (D)   All stop work orders shall be accompanied by a ticket in the amount of $500 for the property owner and all contractors on site.
