§ 110.18 EXEMPTION FROM PAYMENT OF PERMIT AND LICENSE FEES.
   (A)   Certain qualified entities may be exempt from the payment of certain permit and license fees if the entity meets the following criteria:
      (1)   Entity must complete an application for the exemption by April 1 of each and every year;
      (2)   Entity must be a not-for-profit organization organized pursuant to the laws of the State of Illinois;
      (3)   Applicant must be an organization having IRC 501(c)(3) status;
      (4)   Entity must have been in existence for at least five years prior to the filing of the application for exemption;
      (5)   Entity must have been located in and operating within the corporate limits of the village for at least three years prior to the filing of the application for exemption;
      (6)   Organization must be located in the Village of Bellwood for the purpose of providing a charitable service to the immediate and surrounding community; and
      (7)   The application may require additional criteria as shall be requested by the Village Comptroller.
   (B)   The corporate authorities of the village hereby recognize the Bellwood Memorial V.F.W. Post 5081 and Bellwood Moose Lodge #777 as entities that qualify under the terms and conditions of this section and further provide that these entities are hereby exempt from and eligible to have certain license and permit fees waived and do not have to complete the annual application as set forth herein.
