§ 98.02 NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR SITING APPROVAL.
   (A)   No later than 14 days before the date on which the Village Clerk receives a request for siting approval, the applicant shall cause written notice of such request to be served either in person or by registered mail, return receipt requested, on owners of all property within the subject area that is not solely owned by the applicant and on the owners of all property within 250 feet in each direction of the lot line of the subject property, said owners being such persons or entities which appear from the authentic tax records of Cook County; provided that the number of feet occupied by all public roads, streets, alleys and other public ways shall be excluded in computing the 250 feet requirement; provided further that in no event shall this requirement exceed 400 feet, including public streets, alleys and other public ways. The applicant shall file copies of all such notices with the Clerk at the time of filing its application.
   (B)   The applicant shall also serve such written notice upon members of the Illinois General Assembly from the legislative district in which the proposed facility is located and shall publish both in a newspaper of general circulation in the village. The applicant shall file copies of all such notices with the Clerk at the time of filing its application.
   (C)   Every notice required by this section shall state the name and address of the applicant, the location of the proposed facility, the nature and size of the facility, the nature of the activity proposed, the probable life of the proposed activity, the date when the request for site approval will be submitted, and a statement that persons have the right to comment on such request.
