Any person who willfully violates any provision of this chapter, or who willfully makes an untrue or misleading statement of material fact to be stated therein, or who willfully fails to state any fact required to be stated therein shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be subject to a fine of $750. Each day that a violation of this chapter continues shall be deemed a separate and distinct offense.
