For the purpose of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL. A swimming pool used exclusively by the occupant of the property on which it is located, his family and guests.
SWIMMING POOL. A man-made rigid or semi-rigid receptacle for water having a depth at any point greater than 18 inches, used or intended to be used for swimming, wading or bathing, and constructed, installed or maintained in or above the ground outside any building. However, this term shall not be construed to include a collapsible plastic pool.
