(A) No taxicab driver permit shall be issued to an applicant who:
(1) Is under the age of 21 years.
(2) Is not of good moral character.
(3) Has been convicted of an offense indicating that the applicant poses a threat to the public health, safety or welfare, or is under indictment for such an offense.
(4) Has a valid State of Illinois license for the purpose of transporting persons for compensation in a motor vehicle.
(B) Each applicant shall provide any additional information the Village Comptroller may reasonably require in order to determine whether the applicant has met the standards for taxicab driver permit as set forth in this subchapter.
