Prior to the issuance or renewal of a taxicab license, each applicant shall pay to the Village Comptroller an annual license fee in the amount of $100 per year for all licensees maintaining from one to five taxicabs and an additional $50 per year for each additional five taxicabs maintained by the licensee. No license shall be issued without payment of the fee.
