§ 110.06 FEES.
   (A)   In the absence of provision to the contrary all fees and charges for licenses or permits required by this code or other ordinances of the village shall be paid in advance at the time application therefor is made to the Village Comptroller. When an applicant has not engaged in the business until after the expiration of part of the current license year the license fee shall be prorated by quarters and the fee paid for each quarter or fraction thereof during which the business has been or will be pursued. Except as otherwise provided all license fees shall become a part of the corporate fund.
   (B)   If the applicant fails to renew its business license prior to April 30 of the respective licensing year, the applicant shall be required to pay, in addition to the cost of the business license, late fees in the amounts as follows:
      (1)   After April 30 a late fee in the amount of 10% of the total cost of the business license;
      (2)   After May 31 a late fee in the amount of 25% of the total cost of the business license; and
      (3)   After June 30 a late fee in the amount of 50% of the total cost of the business license.
