§ 99.102 FEE TO VILLAGE FOR RESTORATION OF STREETS AND SIDEWALKS.
Any person to whom a building permit is issued shall pay to the village, in addition to all other charges, a fee of $250 for each permit that is issued for the construction of any type of building, excluding garages. This fee is to insure the reimbursement to the village for expenses incurred in restoring sewer and water openings in the street and the restoration of alleys, curbs, parkways or sidewalks. Nothing contained in this section shall preclude the village from maintaining any legal action against the person to recover the damage done to any pavement, curb, parkway, sidewalk or any public property or structure.
