The Village Clerk, or his or her designee, shall have the right to inspect any automatic protection device on the premises where it is intended to be used, both prior to and subsequent to the issuance of a permit, to determine whether a permit should be granted and whether it is being used in conformity with the terms of the permit and the provisions of this chapter.
