All users of alarm equipped suppliers as appropriate, having an automatic protective device installed on the effective date of this chapter, shall be required to obtain a permit and to comply with the provisions contained herein. An application for a permit must be filed within 30 days after the effective date of this chapter. Failure to file an application within the prescribed period will cause the protective device to be disconnected.
