Any person in violation of this chapter shall be subject to a monetary fine of no less than $25 (if unpaid within ten days it shall increase to $50) and no more than $1,000 and may have his or her motorized skateboard and/or scooter confiscated, at the violator's expense, and each and every violation of this chapter shall constitute a separate violation each punishable in accordance with this section.
