§ 71.108 WEIGHT LIMITATIONS; HEAVY VEHICLES RESTRICTED TO USE OF CERTAIN STREETS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to drive or move a vehicle on any village street, or for any owner to cause or knowingly permit a vehicle to be driven or moved on any village street, which has a gross weight, including the weight of the vehicle, exceeding 8,000 pounds, except that such vehicle is delivering or picking up its cargo within the village or except on a street which is designated as a state truck route or otherwise posted.
   (B)   It shall further be unlawful for any person to drive or move a vehicle, or for any owner to cause or knowingly permit a vehicle to be driven or moved, on any street designated as a state truck route or otherwise which vehicle has a gross weight, including the weight of the vehicle, in excess of the weight permitted by state traffic laws or with the weight distributed in a manner not conforming with state laws.
