§ 70.06 VEHICLE STICKERS; SENIOR CITIZENS AND HANDICAPPED PERSONS.
   (A)   Senior citizens. Any owner of a motor vehicle who is a senior citizen shall receive a vehicle sticker for his or her passenger car free of charge, provided that the vehicle is registered in the name of the senior citizen, and provided further that this section shall apply to only one vehicle per senior citizen household. A senior citizen must be 65 prior to December 31 of the licensing period.
   (B)   Handicapped persons. A handicapped individual shall receive a vehicle sticker for his or her passenger car free of charge upon proof of such handicap to be submitted in accordance with ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 3-616, providing for special license plates for handicapped persons. This section shall apply to only one vehicle her handicapped person's household.
