A tax is hereby imposed for the purpose of fire protection in this village at a rate of .075% of the value as equalized or assessed by the Department of Revenue for all taxable property therein, in accordance with the provisions of Illinois Municipal Code, ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, § 11-7-1.
