The Chief of Police shall adopt rules and regulations for the part-time police officers and a process for chain of command, discipline and discharge. The Chief of Police shall have the authority to discipline all part-time police officers up to and including suspension not to exceed five duty days. Any discipline consisting of suspension in excess of five duty days or discharge of a part-time police officer shall be referred to the Board of Trustees for final action upon recommendation of the Chief of Police.
