§ 33.48 APPOINTMENT OF PART-TIME POLICE OFFICERS.

The Village President shall be authorized to hire part-time police officers as he/she deems necessary, subject to the approval of the Village Board. All part- time police officers hired under the provisions of this section shall complete the training required of part- time police officers established by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Board.
