A PART-TIME POLICE OFFICER shall be defined as a member of the Police Department who is employed by the village for less than 1,560 hours in any 12-month period beginning on January 1 of any calendar year and subject to the training requirements for part-time police officers as may be required by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board.
