(A) The municipal treasurer shall pay the sums received pursuant to the Illinois Municipal Code, ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, § 11-10-1, to the treasurer of the Foreign Fire Insurance Board.
(B) The treasurer of the Foreign Fire Insurance Board shall administer the funds paid to them pursuant to the Illinois Municipal Code, ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, §§ 11-10-1 et seq., for the maintenance, use and benefit of the Village Fire Department, as determined and authorized by a majority who are as their principal occupation, directly engaged in fire suppression, fire inspection or prevention.
(C) The Comptroller shall serve as the fiscal agent for the treasurer and the expenditure of such funds shall adhere to the purchasing policies and practices of the village.
