When three or more members are not present at the first hearing date to consider a specific appeal, either the appellant, the village official or their representatives may request a postponement of the hearing to a date not greater than ten from the date of the originally scheduled hearing. In the event that only one member is available at the adjourned hearing, that member may conduct a hearing and issue a decision to affirm, modify or reverse the decision of the village official. Said member shall note in the written decision that manner and confirmation of the notice of the adjourned meeting date being provided to the other member of the Board.
