(A) The Village Board, upon recommendation of the President, may appoint a Director of Public Service Employment, to direct a Public Service Employment Program. The Director will report to the Village President's office, under whom the Public Service Employment Program is directed.
(B) The Director shall:
(1) Serve as and perform all functions of the Director of Public Service Employment, as set forth in the position job description; and
(2) Organize and manage the Public Services Employment Program; and
(3) Serve as the head of the community property maintenance inspections of the village; and
(4) Submit to the Village President plans and programs relating to the Public Services Employment Program; and
(5) Prescribe such rules and regulations as approved by the Village President to manage the conduct of the Public Services Employment Program; and
(6) Be responsible for the proper maintenance of all village property and equipment used in his or her department; and
(7) Keep informed as to the latest practices for such a program, and inaugurate, with the approval of the Village President, such new practices as appear to be a benefit to the village and the public.
