(A) Created. There is created the office of Budget Officer/Director of Finance for the Village of Bellwood, pursuant to the Illinois Municipal Code, ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, § 8-2-9.1.
(B) Appointment. The Budget Officer/Director of Finance shall be appointed by the Village President with a two-third majority vote of those members of the corporate authority then holding office.
(C) Duties. The duties of the Budget Officer/Director of Finance shall be those set forth in the Illinois Municipal Code, ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, § 8-2-9.2.
(D) Compensation. The Budget Officer/Director of Finance shall receive as compensation an amount set by ordinance passed by the corporate authority.
