(A) Position created. There is hereby created the position of Economic Development Specialist. The person to fill this position shall be hired by the Village President with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees.
(B) Salary. The salary attached to the position of Economic Development Specialist shall be as set by the President and Board of Trustees.
(C) Term. The Economic Development Specialist shall serve at will.
(D) Duties. The Economic Development Specialist shall report directly to the Village Clerk and shall be responsible for: reviewing the commercial and industrial development of the village; for advising the Village Clerk and Village President of recommendations to maintain and improve the conditions with the assistance of such grants, tax incentives and other economic development procedures as approved by the Village President and Board of Trustees; and for performing such other duties as may be assigned by the Village Clerk or Village President.
