§ 31.35 POLICE MAGISTRATE.
   (A)   Term of office. The Police Magistrate shall hold his or her office for the term of four years and until his or her successor is elected and qualified, as provided by law.
   (B)   Bond. Before entering upon the duties of his or her office, the Police Magistrate shall execute a bond in the sum of $2,500 to the village.
   (C)   Duties. The Police Magistrate shall perform the duties imposed upon him or her by the laws of the state and the ordinances of the village.
   (D)   Disposition of fines and costs. All fines and costs collected by the Police Magistrate for violations of the provisions of this code and other ordinances of the village shall be turned over to the Village Comptroller.
   (E)   Court clerk. The Police Magistrate shall make whatever provisions he or she deems desirable to provide for a court clerk.
   (F)   When docket to be open for inspection. The docket of the Police Magistrate shall be open to inspection by the police during all business hours of the day.
