(A) The village hereby adopts by reference, as if fully set forth herein, a zero tolerance policy for workplace drug and alcohol use. The Village of Bellwood Alcohol and Drug Policy is set forth in Exhibit A to Ordinance 06-45.
(B) The alcohol and drug policy shall become a part of the policies and procedures which govern the employment of village employees and shall be enforced by village officials and administrators.
(C) The village is hereby authorized to perform law enforcement activities on private property in accordance with executed agreements or as otherwise permitted by law.
(D) The alcohol and drug policy shall not apply to those employees who are parties to current collective bargaining agreements which contain alcohol and drug provisions therein.
